Radio theory handbook

When I was struggling to find out how I can start in electronics in the year 2000.
I kept searching the web for electronics materials and in one site which I cannot remember I found an info which changed my career in electronics completely.

The author of that site had shared an article on how to be smart in electronics and his advice was this” if you want to learn electronics from the roots befriend someone who is a radio amateur, so what has someone interested in knowing electronics to do with Radio amateur?

I think you are also asking the same question as you read this but let check out on Wikipedia the meaning of the word “amateur” The term "amateur" is used to specify "a duly authorized person interested in radio electric practice with a purely personal aim and without pecuniary interest;"[1] (either direct monetary or other similar reward) and to differentiate it from commercial broadcasting, public safety (such as police and fire), or professional two-way radio services (such as maritime, aviation, taxis, etc.).

So long time before the internet was invented these guys used to communicates with each other’s using radio frequencies as explained above.

With that information, I started searching for radio amateur sites and I landed in Australia where I meet a radio amateur enthusiast Mr. Ron Bertrand who has just started a school “(Radio and electronics school” to train Radio amateurs all over Australia.

I introduced myself to him and he told me that the classes are already full BUT because he has noticed my Enthusiasm in electronics he is going to take me in his class.

After six month I was through with the course and I can say here without fear of contradiction, this was my turning point in my electronics career, this man Ron Bertrand changed my life completely.

If you are out there and want to a highly sought out tech in your home town, write you own eBooks in electronics etc. befriend an amateur radio guy.

The good news is that for the first time, Ron has decided to share his vast knowledge and experience of over 40 years in electronics to the entire world by publishing his first book which is now going on sale at Amazon.

From the reader’s point of view the book is divided into two sections, Part one is purely electronics (from basic to advanced level) and Part two is basically radio transmission theory which can be a good resource for those in broadcasting industry.

Thank you guys
